F.P. Journe Vagabondage II Watch
About a year ago, I wrote about the announcement of the F.P. Journe Vagabondage II watch release here. I was very excited about the watch as it was both beautiful and technically interesting. F.P. Journe rarely disappoints when it comes to new watch creation and this second installment in the Vagabondage line offered an even more sophisticated manner of digital time display. A little while ago I sat down with Francois-Paul, and he showed me this gorgeous creation. One thing I am not sure about is the price. I might have forgotten to ask, and companies such as this aren't usually the ty
Paul Picot C-Type Plongeur 48 Ben Spies Limited Edition Watch
When I first saw this new limited edition watch from Paul Picot, I thought that the logo on the dial looked a lot like something from my childhood. Check out the resemblance of Ben's lucky number 11 logo to that of GI Joe. You can't call it copying cause there is so much that looks like that. Military-esque style stars and USA colors? The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is one of the most classic watches out there still being made today. Easily up there in some top 10 list, if one was ever to be established (note to self - work on top 10 classic watches list). Since its creation way back when (maybe the 1930s) it has been an iconic watch for Jaeger-LeCoultre. One of the most simple and classic, but still interesting Reverso models being sold today is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duo. The original Reverso watches did not have dual faces. One side was metal to protect the watch during polo matches. When Jaeger-LeCoultre real
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Survivor Chronograph Watch Available On James List
This is either the weirdest or coolest Audemars Piguet watch around depends on your point of view. This is the $50,000 plus Royal Oak Offshore Survivor - a watch meant to look like it can survive the next 5 or so world wars - being worn by the heroes of battle. Conversely, this is the bad-ass watch that will help you in your fight against the Predator, or other such daring feats of Hollywood-esque escapades that you might encounter on a daily basis. At least you looking at the watch will make you feel as though can actually do these things. Otherwise it is just another well made watch.
