Cartier has proudly put out its new Masse Secrete Panther Decor watch
The timepiece manufacture Cartier has proudly put out its new Masse Secrete Panther Decor watch to be admired by lovers of exquisite watchmaking. The ingenuity of the new Cartier watch lies in its inverted rotor, presented on a dial side in the form of a diamond-set panther with black lacquered spots. The three-dimensional gracious animal seems to travel across a deep purple mother-of-pearl dial. It whispers the time through central hours and minutes.
Baselworld 2013: Casio Releases G-Shock's 30th Anniversary Edition
Casio's G-Shock has always been an unquestionably fresh, energetic, but also - with its countless editions - a superbly professional wristwatch, with durability and richness in features scarcely paralleled by other pieces. It has?been owned - or to say at least?acknowledged by - watch nerds, enthusiasts, and "normal" human beings alike. 4N Watch
When I first debuted the 4N watch it was much ballyhooed. This was about a year ago when piece like this were hot. Actually, it was more than a year ago. Even then the brand was over a year away from having a final product. Now they are almost at a final product but not quite yet. The actual name of the watch is the 4N MVT01/D01/42. So until a proper name is conceived I will just call it the "4N watch."This is a prototype and unfortunately it was just one part away from working properly! So I couldn't take a v
JeanRichard Diverscope JR1000 Diving Watch
Now this is a nice diving watch. I find it refreshing to see a simple and straight forward design execution such as this. What else would you expect from JeanRichard, Girard Perregaux's baby brand? The Diverscope JR1000 watch has the sensibility of somewhere between a Rolex Submariner and a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. The design is not quite as refined as those two, but the look is really fantastic and the straight-forwardness of the design is appealing and welcome. The Diverscope is watch from the 1960's and here is a modern rendition of the look. Me liking it, as well as the other afore
TX 400 Series Perpetual Weekly Calendar Ref. T3C301 Watch Review
This is a pretty good watch to use when making case for the quartz movement. While the concept behind the original perpetual calendar display is unique and simple, it would be hell to accomplish in a mechanical movement. Instead, it is much more practical to have in a quartz based movement, which makes it something people can actually afford. This seems to be the MO behind TX watches, that they emphasize the strengths of quartz watches as opposed to creating watches that you wish had an automatic movement. Plus, they like to indicate that the movements are German designed? - a little f
