the original Hysek is crafted from precious metal
Usually speaking, the original Hysek is crafted from precious metal like white, yellow and pink gold. Some are even encrusted with dazzling diamonds or colorful gemstones. The expensive making materials are the direct cause of the high retail prices. However, the duplicated models are made of less expensive materials like stainless steel or gilding. Take Hysek Altiplano couple watch for instance; they are fashionable, charming and functional.
Breguet Type XX A¡§|ronavale Limited Edition Watch For 2010
Breguet's famous Type XX watches are among the first high-end timepieces that I fell in love with back in college. I couldn't afford one then, and I still don't have one today, but the dream of owning one of the Breguet "Type" aviator style watches remains strong. They come in a few varieties, such as the Type XX, Type XXI, and the newer (and sort of silly) Type XXII.50 years ago Breguet delivered to the French Naval Airforce 500 Type XX A¡§|ronavale watches made on special order. New Laco Marine Style Watch Aims Squarely At Cartier Pasha Seatimer
I could not find the name of this new Laco watch. Perhaps if I spoke German that would be possible or I am just too lazy to write to Roger Ruegger, from who excellent (German) website I found the picture. No doubt I will discover it soon enough and update this article, I hope. Roger, like myself is a great lover of diving watches, and happened to snap this image while at Basel World (2008) in April. I have always had a fondness for Laco watches, and this one seemed particularly attractive.Laco isn't always known for their individuality, but they take classic aviation and diving watches
Montblanc Villeret Tourbillon Bi-Cylindrique Watch
Powerfully interesting, this new flagship watch for Montblanc's Villeret arm builds on the Tourbillon Mysterious of a few years ago. The "mystery" gives way to an open dial, and the tourbillon has double cylindrical balance springs in the tourbillon. Hence the name "Montblanc Villeret Tourbillon Bi-Cylindrique." The large tourbillon makes viewing the "double heart beat" more interesting. Why the two springs? As a means of reducing error in the regulation and thus attempting to boost accuracy. All that and it looks pretty nice.Read my full article on the Montblanc Tourbillon Bi-Cylindr
Master Watch Maker Vianney Halter 'Tells It Like It Is' In Interview
Most watch lovers have a fondness and strict appreciation for watch maker Vianney Halter - who is the man behind Janvier Manufacture, a number of interesting timepieces (including the iconic Antiqua), has set the bar for luxury steampunk timepieces, and is a respected personality in the world of horology. Haute Horlogerie Magazine recently interviews him (link below), and I suggest the short read due to Vianney's actually straight forward and sober responses.Any watch industry journalist knows that while you need to interview the CEO's of major brands in the hope that you might get so
