This is the newer Paul Picot Santos watches
I got to play with one of these magical little items for a while. One that is close to entry level model from the brand, though still pricey, and still Paul Picot. This is the newer Paul Picot Santos watches. Part of the brand's desire to keep their product name relevant in anticipation of some years where typically high spending in their boutiques will likely wane a bit.
Memorigin Military Tourbillon MO 0707 Watch Review
A lot of the times that we post a video about some cool, expensive Swiss watch on the?aBlogtoWatch YouTube channel, we get a regular type of comment. In some manner or another, one of our viewers says something akin to "I will wait until the Chinese make one for a few hundred dollars." Yea, I get that timepieces are expensive, sometimes crazy expensive, but it is true that the Chinese can copy just about anything? No, and I think most people know that. One area that they have however been more successful in stealing thunder away from the Swiss has been with tourbillon movements. The Ch
Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 4 Watch
Back in 2009 Harry Winston released the first Histoire de Tourbillon 1 watch. I rather enjoyed it especially as it looked a lot like the Sand People from Star Wars. Since then, the Histoire de Tourbillon watch collection has been a sort of "Opus light" that explored new and interesting ways of presenting a tourbillon watch. Harry Winston has just released the fourth iteration of the Histoire de Tourbillon which sadly doesn't look enough like any science fiction character for me to include supplementary article art. It is however, the next to last member of this collection that will end
Bremont HMS Victory Limited Edition Watch
Not too much information right now but this is the upcoming limited edition Bremont HMS Victory limited edition watch. The classic looking chronograph will be produced in honor of the historic HMS Victory ship. The HMS Victory was originally built in the 18th century and is the oldest surviving warship from that era. The limited edition watch is said to contain actual original material from the ship itself. The watch is part of a relationship between UK-based watch brand Bremont and The National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth, England. The final piece will be unveiled in
Haldimann H9 Reduction Watch
I thoroughly debated on whether or not I should even cover this "watch." It is from a brand called Haldimann - eponymously named after the watch maker Beat Haldimann, and I think the man is playing a rather cruel joke on watch lovers. One press release I saw on the watch wasn't a press release at all, but a rather diplomatic article written by a Swiss journalist based on his reaction to the watch. As a timepiece this item is utterly indefensible - but optimistically creative types will claim that it is some manner of art. This latter description is probably the kindest thing you can sa
