Seiko Astron GPS Solar Chronograph Watch
We are often exposed to the head-to-head competitions between Swiss watch brands, be they from the luxury or the mid- to lower-end segment. But there is another fierce race going on to win the hearts (and the savings!) of watch fans by major companies operating far-and-away from the Vall¡§|e de Joux. Among the latest great battles is the one between two Japanese mega-companies?Seiko and Citizen, both investing heavily into the development of the world's finest GPS controlled watches. We discussed their "firsts" at the time of their debuts; both Citizen's Satellite Wave and the Seiko Astr
Genesis: German Men's Watches By A Woman
Genesis is not just a neat-sounding word that someone thought would make for a good watch brand name. It is rather the name of the brand's founder and designer - Christine Genesis. How convenient is that? To have a cool last name like that? Christine is a rare breed being a full-on watch maker and a female. I wouldn't make a big deal of that fact if it was more common. I, for one, applaud the idea of having more female headliners in the watch industry. Christine's brand begins with some attractive watches that combine a little of classic traditionalism, Bauhaus, and modern minimalism.
Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve 2010 Watch Award Winners

A few surprises, and a lot of watches that just keep winning. I was invited to the ceremony, but was unfortunately unable to stick around in Europe long enough after my last trip to go this year. Next year I will go, and might just sport a Timex!Surprises that I am happy to see? Seiko won the prize for the best Sports Watch with the Spring Drive Spacewalk Commemorative Edition watch. MB&F won for best Desig
Audemars Piguet Millenary MC12 Tourbillon Chronograph Watch Available On James List
I am always curious as to what the thought process is when admirable watch makers design watches after cars. They never seem to look too much like the cars they are modeled after. this might be a bit of an exception as at least the colors match. Do you think that cars are ever modeled after watches? Maybe. Well this is the Audemars Piguet Millenary MC12 Tourbillon Chronograph. Let me unravel that name for a moment. The "Millenary" title alludes to the stlye of the case and the "MC12" name refers to the Maserati super car that the watch is based on. The MC12 is basically a race c
