The Moon of Kalla is the last high jewellery line of watches from Vacheron Constantin. The model large Moon Kalia has 816 baguette cut diamonds, 23 brilliant cut diamonds and a rose-cut diamond of the Crown for a total weight of 42.61 carats. The stones are cut hand and hand-set to work perfectly with the case.

Linde Werdelin is a brand with a very focused energy. Their watches are technical, masculine, and all exhibit their unique perspective on modern watch design. Few of their watches better express their brand DNA than the very cool SpidoSpeed Chronograph, which was launched at BaselWorld in 2011. The SpidoSpeed represented the combination of both the SpidoLite case design and the LW03, an exclusive automatic chronograph movement made by the Swiss manufacturer Concepto. Raymond Weil Nabucco Chronograph Watches
Raymond Weil, being such a mainstream entry-level luxury watch brand in the US, has for some reason remained outside of my scope of attention for the most part. It isn't that there is anything wrong with Raymond Weil. Quite the opposite - they have a very well established marquee and popularity among certain demographics in the US. So I look to rarer breeds much of the time. Last I spoke about Raymond Weil, I spoke more about their press release writer as opposed to the watches. Here I lampooned their literary fluff that was meant to announce the Nabucco Va, Pensiero watch.

The new for 2012 Breguet Heritage Phases de Lune Retrograde 8860 watch is for women (in case you didn't notice). I like the woven leather strap and overall simple yet refined theme of the watch. It is also a rare "casual" ladies piece in the Breguet collection that doesn't need to be worn with an evening gown.
