TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Racing Watch Review
Since the early 1960s, the Carrera has been a staple watch model of Heuer and later TAG Heuer. Developed as a lifestyle racing watch, the Carrera remains one of the most important timepiece families of the 20th century in regard to its importance as a collectible and how it has influenced timepiece design for over 50 years. Today, I am going to look at a rather unique version of the Carrera that certainly sits toward the higher-end of the collection. This is the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Racing watch, and this article is actually the third piece we've done on it.The Carrera Calibre
Buben & Zorweg Magnum Luxury Watch Safe
Since its establishment in 1995, Buben & Zorweg has transformed from a small firm producing packaging for high-end timepieces and jewelry into a manufacturer of watch winders, fine mechanical watches and - since 2008 - luxury safes as well. New for 2013, the Engineer Hydrocarbon Black is really a sister product to the new Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster - which itself is based on the Engineer Ceramic XV. Each of these watches share the same case, but there are dial and other differences.Unlike the more
Devon Steampunk Tread 1 Watch
Destined for near future production, is the Devon Steampunk Tread 1 watch. According to Scott Devon, they wanted to play with steampunk ideas for the Tread 1 as a design study. The customer reaction was so good that production is being fast tracked. This of course is the steampunk styled version of the original Devon Tread 1 that I reviewed here. The final design might change a bit, but these renders will reflect how the final versions will look. I anticipate these being a limited production series which we may see in real life closer to the end of 2012. Devon's designer makes it clear
