Omega takes the look of classic Omega timepieces
Omega takes the look of classic Omega timepieces and combines with the modern of the Speedmaster case look. It is an interesting drop-down list box. You also get the logo style vintage Omega red. The needle of the hours arrow blend well with the needle of the minutes dagger and the old style numerals. The tachometer bezel complements the Speedmaster character. The back of the watch probably has some etching on the theme of the Olympic Games. The size is probably about 42 mm wide and the watch will be steel. Inside of the watch is Omega co-axial 3888 calibre automatic movement - which is likely to certified chronometer. Functions more or less include a 12-hour chronograph and day date calendar. A very cool and functional design perfectly awaken our thoughts of Omega and the Olympic Games. Only thing they have left was the logo of Olympic rings as the counterweight on the chronograph seconds hand - but that he would have obstructed the dial too. Price will be available early next year of
Pebble E-Paper Watch For iPhone And Android: Review
Pebble watch showing off one of the very readable watch faces.I first held a Pebble watch in my hands in January. I've had it on and off my wrist since March. Since that time, it's undergone considerable refinement in how it behaves as a smartwatch. But is it a good watch?Smartwatches have been around for decades, especially if we include the earliest Pulsar calculator and Casio Databank watches. The Casio Databank has a calculator, appointments, contact name, address and phone numbers. It?¡¥s almost a proto-PDA. Then we actually got wrist PDAs that ran PalmOS from Fossil. Microsoft and
Christopher Ward W60 Coral Ladies Watch Review
With Valentine's Day coming up it is good for us to have a few decent watch options to buy for those watch loving ladies in our lives. If you don't have any of those around you certainly haven't been spreading your enthusiasm for timepieces effectively. I don't review watches for women all that often because I am not a woman and cannot comment on them as such. Fortunately in this case I am merely reporting on a review by a woman owner of this precise watch. I'll also add why in the abstract this piece is pretty nice in my opinion. This W60 Coral (ref. W60-SMWM) is a lady diver-
Breitling Transocean Watch
While I am not the type of guy who is that interested in vintage style watches, there are a lot of excellent exceptions such as the newer Breitling Transocean. When Breitling shared this piece with me I immediately liked it. Sure it is a retro-type piece, but ti is not a watch that is overtly "retro." I would rather suggest it is a traditionally styled watch - something that has a more timeless quality than looking as though it is stuck in a past era.Last year Breitling introduced the chronograph version of the Transocean called that Transocean Chronograph. This p
Swiss Army New Original Watch
1989 Swiss Army releases their first timepiece. It is called the Original. I have no idea if it was originally called the original. That would be ironic, sort of. It is certainly an icon though. Everyone has seen this watch. Either on someone's wrist, in a store, or just online. This is the original Swiss Army watch design... OK, I need to stop saying "original."The great thing about the Original is that it is still made and sold today. Holy crap, is this the VW Beetle of timepieces? In a sense it sort of is. Today the original Original retails for about $195 (a bit cheaper online) an
