While I like this new watch range a lot I am torn because it is a Rado without being a modern Rado. What do I mean? Well for the last long while Rado watches have been mostly typified by having mostly ceramic cases. In fact Rado was pretty much the innovator behind ceramic watch. For 2012 a cool re-done diver collection comes out and it barely has any ceramic! Well, a bit more on the chrono model. A Piaget dive watch?! Oh yes, and here is the proof. Get ready to go underwater in your black bow tie. I was pretty amazed to discover this watch that was made in the mid 1990s. It is very difficult to find information on this watch by the way. I believe it is called the Piaget Polo Key, but it is Ref. 250020 no. GOA22036. I think it is pretty neat - but how primitive does the case look by today's standards? IWC dive watch enthusiasts rejoiced to see a freshened up line of IWC Aquatimer watches released recently at SIHH 2009 in Geneva. There are a number of new models, and a slightly updated a depth gauge version as well (the Deep Two). IWC seemed to take a completely different approach this year as the line is much more colorful and shiny than it was previously.
