Watch Winner Review: Frederique Constant Peking To Paris Chronograph
Thanks to David B. who was the winner of a Frederique Constant?watch back in the December 2012 holiday giveaway. For his winning watch he chose a Peking To Paris Chronograph. After living with it for a little while he had the following watch review report to make for his fellow readers:Next month, on May 28th, the fifth Peking to Paris Motor Challenge event will take place. Zenith Captain Dual Time Watch
Have you seen a cleaner looking classy GMT? I don't think I have. Especially one that is so simple to read and operate. This is the new Zenith Captain Dual Time watch from the brand's Elite movement collection. Elite movements are a little step down from El Primero movements - but also made in-house by Zenith. While El Primero movements operate at 36,000 bph, Elite ones operate at a more traditional 28,800 bph. They are also more affordable, and offer one of the best values around when looking to get a watch with in-house made Swiss movement. The piece is really a beauty.

This watch is part punk rock watch for women, and part "I want to wear my boyfriend's stuff" look. No one can deny that Rock Candy's "The Beast" is a very masculine watch. Good for the woman who wants a tough exterior look and is happily swept away by 'big watch trend' that exists
Vacheron Constantin Metiers d?¡¥Art Tribute To Explorers 2008 Watches: Not Particularly Good Tributes To Great Explorers
While I really like the idea, I just don't think Vacheron Constantin succeeding in getting the point across with these watches. The Metiers d?¡¥Art Tribute To Great Explorers 2008 collection is meant to honor Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus with well crafted watches that have old-style maps on them. Solid gold cases frame sophisticated enamel art with gold accents throughout. The enamel style is called "grand feu" and is apparently very tricky to get done right. I have no doubt that the methods used to creates this artistic watches are world-class, and that the fit and finish is top-n
