Rado D-Star Basel Special 2011
The DiaStar 1962 was the first wristwatch in the world made resistant ceramic stripe Certainly, since the brand has evolved and is now primarily associated with brilliant black ceramic case, new watch is also black: the case and the rubber strap.
Its dial has a page layout standard chronograph with an indicator of small seconds to 03, in 12 hours counter 06 Chronograph and the 30 minutes totalizer chrono in 09. The opening of the small date is neatly placed between 4 and 05. As usual, the Swiss watchmaker has not said a word on the size of the timer, or the movement of ticks inside. However, we know that the movement is automatic winding. No doubt, some blank size of ETA S.A.
Fabulous Ulysse Nardin Caprice Tiger
In the eyes of emeralds and brilliant with diamonds, form Tiger, dreamlike, seems alive, as if she moves stealthily through the grass. It is a creature of wonder, enchanting and mystifying as the woman whose wrist it decorates. A piece of jewelry that stands with confidence in its own splendour, the Tiger of Caprice illustrates the convergence of the watchmaking and aesthetic breathtaking. Also beautify its dial - from force and femininity - is fiery Ruby marking time.
Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Dive Watch
High-end watch brand?Carl F. Bucherer is of course part of the larger Bucherer family that includes the major Swiss watch retailer. Like many modern brands trying to appeal to a diverse set of potential customers, they might come out with a new classic tourbillon and diver in the same year. In fact that is exactly what they have done. We recently reported on Carl F. Bucherer's first tourbillon with a hands-on look at the new Manero Tourbillon here. Now for a diver with the Patravi ScubaTec.The details of the Patravi ScubaTec will show you that it isn't trying to be the next best thing
Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute To Deep Sea Re-issue Watches
It wasn't until I put this watch (I mean watches) on my wrist, that I understood why Jager-LeCoultre wanted to make it (again). The Memovox Deep Sea was the brand's first real dive watch - made in 1959 until the early 1960s. I read that 1,061 pieces were ever produced. Getting one today (in any condition) is an almost impossible task. And there you have your reason. The history behind the watch is sufficient for JLC to make it again - to offer aficionado's the ability to obtain and un-obtainable watch. Makes sense right? And isn't that what offering a "re-issue" watch is all about.
Going To JCK Jewelry & Watch Show In Las Vegas
I'd like to think that JCK is sort of like an American? Baselworld. It isn't, but it is a pretty good step in that direction. While combined with jewelry, JCK attracts a large number of watch brands and I will be attending it this year as a member of the press. This will be my first time going to such an event, so I will take my camera and trust me that I have some good meetings lined up. I might just possibly use up the full 12 gigs of memory card space I have on images over the next few days. There are two elements to the show. First are the expo halls where lots of the brands hang o
