Conversation With Jerome Lambert, New CEO Of Montblanc
Jerome Lambert is now the CEO of Montblanc. Do you recognize the name? If not you should. He was the former CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. In his ten year run as CEO, he took the wonderful brand (that I am a customer of) from a brand that was only "known by those who know," to a front and center superstar. He took the best of the company (the incredible craftsmanship and technical acumen) and applied an aggressively youthful image, while introducing daring designs and even a partnership with Aston Martin. In a nutshell, Lambert helped Jaeger-LeCoultre realize its full potential - the product
TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 12 ACM Edition Watch Review
Allow us to take this opportunity to not just review a unique version of the TAG Heuer Monaco, but also to review the collection as a whole. The Monaco is one of TAG Heuer's most famous watch families, sporting a cushion/square case which was originally debuted in 1969 - an important year for watch making, and an important year for Heuer. The watch was worn by the lead character Walter Whi
Cartier Temps Modernes de Cartier Watch
"Well ain't that pretty" I thought when checking out this new high-jewelry piece from Cartier this year. "Too bad it is a woman's watch." Called "Temps Moderne de Cartier," this watch is a high-end testament to the classic film "Modern Times" by Charlie Chaplin. The timepiece is curiously cool and full of the whimsy and playfulness that has marked high-end jewelry watches for a while. No longer is it OK to merely have a watch with loads of precious stones all over it. These days that watch has to do something fun
JeanRichard Diverscope LPR Watch
While not a wildly complex new complication, there is a sort of smile inducing "that's cool" sentiment about the linear power reserve (LPR) indicator built into the 12 o'clock hour indicator of this new for 2011 JeanRichard Diverscope watch. I don't have a ton of information about the watch, but I did get a nice hands-on session with it thanks to JeanRichard. This is one of the coolest Diverscope models to come out. Will it come only with the black and white dial? Not sure. Set in the Diverscope's standard 43mm wide case (pretty sure it was in steel) the watch contains a
