The Chopard L.U.C XP Tonneau displays hours, minutes, small seconds and date indicated by a window at 06.All these functions are governed by the ultralight, selfwinding L.U.C. caliber 3.97. Entirely designed, developed, refined and produced in-house, this movement is a simple 3.30 mm thick - a technical detail that integrates a centered micro-rotor off and a double barrel (based on the patented technology of Chopard Twins) provides a 65-hour power reserve.
Chronograph Anniversary Edition Watch From Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec
It is probably my most favorite interpretation of the dial on Nicolas Rieussec impressive Montblanc timepieces. For 2011 Montblanc will publish a few versions of this watch Nicolas Rieussec chronograph Anniversary Edition. [IMG]
The dial has many subtle changes to it, and the result is something extremely prestigious in appearance and beautifully refined. The dial itself is engraved Guilloche machine. The case is about 43 mm wide and available in any 18 k Rose Gold White, gold or Platinum (Platinum version has a Crown of white gold 18 k).
The case embellished with Versace crest
The case, assembled with a front sapphire crystal, features a crown, embellished with Versace crest. The timepiece boasts 30-meter water-resistance.The model is powered by a self-winding movement and offers 30-meter water-resistance. The watch provides a 24-hour power reserve and its face displays the second time-zone.
Seiko Ananta Automatic Watches
It has been a few months since I was in Japan visiting with Seiko. Shortly thereafter I wrote about the Spring Drive versions of their newish and impressive Seiko Ananta line of watches. If you recall, Ananta is Seiko's first line of high-end watches for the world market. The watches totally changed my perception of the brand, and I think if you check them out they will change the way you look at Seiko as well. The Spring Drive watches aren't cheap. While they are a great value for the money, the Seiko Ananta Spring Drive Chronograph watch can still get up to the $6,000 - $7,000 range.
