In full conformity with the watch design are rhodium-plated, diamond-cut hands displayed on the black matt dial - they are reminiscent of tentacles of an octopus. The hands are treated with Superluminova. Just as well, the display includes Arabic numerals and applied rhodium-plated indexes, also highlighted with Superluminova, which makes the dial visible even in extreme low-light situations. Protecting the remarkable dial is a 3.8mm glareproofed sapphire crystal.The Concord Oktopus Tattoo watch is teamed with a black alligator leather strap distinguished by red stitching. The strap is finished with a steel ardillon buckle.

Made for a man, sized for a woman? Apparently that is what Swedish watch designer Gabriel Arlanch had in mind when making his first watch, the Arlanch Gold Watch No 1 as it is 32mm wide. Little! Sorta kid sized, or lady sized. Maybe I am getting it all wrong and this is a woman's watch. The was was announced mid last year, but this is the first I have heard of it.
