I am watching a video right now on Swatch's website that is a TV commercial for the Swatch Touch watch. I haven't actually seen it on television, but then again I am not likely watching the right channels. The video is graphical and friendly and MC Hammer's famous song from the early 1990's is playing. The first time that I wrote about Baume & Mercier's new for 2011 Capeland collection watches I was a bit irritated. Back in 2009 I wrote about the in-house FC-700 automatic movement by Frederique Constant, as well as the Maxime Manufacture watch that it came in. Glashutte Original Sport Evolution Panorama Date Watch Review
When I first noticed the Sport Evolution watch collection a few years ago I felt as though it was Glashutte Original's take on making a fancier Rolex Submariner. While the Sport Evolution is a bit larger (by 2mm) the watches have a lot in common. Both are dive watches (though people rarely dive in either of them), though with different depth ratings (200 meters for the Sport Evolution, and 300 meters for the Submariner), have rotating bezels, nice steel bracelets, easy to read dials, and in-house made movements.
