William Shatner Passage Watch By Egard
Egard is a brand I'm very familiar with, as I've reviewed a good number of their watches over the last year or two, and have had the opportunity to see their designs improve and mature. ?William Shatner is also someone I'm very familiar with, as my earliest SciFi memories are from watching reruns of Star Trek with my dad. ?For the past year, Shatner has worked with Egard's founder, Ilan Srulovicz to create a timepiece that's out of this world - the Passages. Were it not for Shatner's involvement in this particular model, this is a watch that would still, definitely, make me take notice
Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar Watch Exclusive
The next Tissot T-Touch watch will be the T-Touch people have been wanting for years. Since its introduction over a decade ago, the T-Touch has been the good looking Swiss gadget watch of choice for many people drawn to its handsome design and multifunction touchscreen display with features such as a compass, chronograph, altimeter, calendar, and more. For the first time in about five years, Tissot has announced a major evolutionary step in the collection with the upcoming release of the T-Touch Expert Solar. One of the chief features people have been asking for in a T-Touch watch is s

The funkiest straightforward tourbillon watch for 2011 might just be this limited edition Sixties Square Tourbillon from Glashutte Original. The 41mm by 41mm wide square cushion style watch case is great looking and the execution of the flying tourbillon just seems like a nice icing on the cake afterthought. It is as though the entire watch was done but it had a subsidiary seconds dial so someone said, "hey, I bet a flying tourbillon would look good in there!" (of course in a German accent), and it was settled. This is the first cushion style watch in the Sixties collection and
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Rubens Barrichello II Watch Available On James List
From a design standpoint I consider this watch to be the pre-cursor of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Survivor watch. Look at the two watches adn you will agree that this Rubens Barrichello II limited edition watch has design cues that made their way into the Surviror watch a few years late. Not exactly the same looks, but part of the same breed. These include the hands, dial design, light vertical texturing (see the strap links here) as well as the crown and pusher design. The pictured watch was part way "there" and then Audemars Piguet just went the distance with the Survivor
