Bovet Timepieces Owner Pascal Raffy On Patrimony, Values, And The True Meaning Of Luxury
The watch industry is a place I became a part of by accident, and in a sense my love of watches themselves was an accident. Quizzical and quirky, the Otturatore itself is as strange as its name sounds (in English), yet somehow ends up being remarkably desirable given the love and care de Grisogono put into its design and deve
Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve 2010 Watch Award Winners
Last night was the watch industry's annual big award show gala event - the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve (GPHG). These are our Oscars, and the 2010 winners are interesting. A few surprises, and a lot of watches that just keep winning. I was invited to the ceremony, but was unfortunately unable to stick around in Europe long enough after my last trip to go this year. Next year I will go, and might just sport a Timex!Surprises that I am happy to see? Seiko won the prize for the best Sports Watch with the Spring Drive Spacewalk Commemorative Edition watch.
