As well as launching a limited edition Speedmaster, Omega launched a mini site in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the watch.
The Concord Oktopus Tattoo watch is teamed with a black alligator leather strap
In full conformity with the watch design are rhodium-plated, diamond-cut hands displayed on the black matt dial - they are reminiscent of tentacles of an octopus. The hands are treated with Superluminova. Just as well, the display includes Arabic numerals and applied rhodium-plated indexes, also highlighted with Superluminova, which makes the dial visible even in extreme low-light situations. Protecting the remarkable dial is a 3.8mm glareproofed sapphire crystal.The Concord Oktopus Tattoo watch is teamed with a black alligator leather strap distinguished by red stitching. The strap is finished with a steel ardillon buckle.

This was one of the best new Baume & Mercier at SIHH 2010, and that really isn't saying much. The brand's return to "heritage" (wow, isn't that starting to sound REALLY cliche these days) has a release of "classic" looking watches. A term that is starting to get on my nerves these days.
