Techno Master on a Jaeger-LeCoultre Basis
The Midnight in Paris watch recreates the celestial dome's map with help of a rotating aventurine glass disk. Aventurine mineral is associated with a nice story. Once, a glass-maker from Venice accidentally (that is translated as 'a l'aventura' in Italian) dropped copper shavings in a molten glass mass and was surprised to see an iridescent green glass paste, then sold as 'aventurine'. As for the mineral, it was discovered later and named 'aventurine' as it looked much the same as aventurine glass. The Swiss mechanical movement equipped with 24 jewels is beating at 28,800 alt / hour. It offers 40-hour power-reserve. The precise mechanism was exclusively developed for Techno Master on a Jaeger-LeCoultre Basis.
Festina Profundo Dive Watch Comes In Bag Filled With Water
There is marketing and then there is brilliant marketing. Go shopping for watches and you may find yourself discovering a new goldfish bowl. The large Spanish watch group Festina (and brand of course) has recently started putting water-filled clear plastic bags on shelves with the newest versions of their Profudno dive watches in them. This isn't the first time a watchmaker has put a water resistant watch actually in water, but as far as we know it has never before been done like this. The brilliant concept is thanks to a Berlin-based agency called Scholz & Friends."Profundo" tran

Orient M-Force SEL03001D Diver Watch Review
One of my favorite divers in my collection is an Orient CFD0C001B Saturation Diver. I reviewed it here. While it has quirks, the big beefy diver has a great look with a useful dial and a fantastically adjustable bracelet. I still love wearing it today. As far as I know it is one of Orient's most expensive watches and certainly at the top of their diver collection. This M-Force Diver model is more modern, but considered a mid-range model between the more pricey Saturation Diver and Orient's lower-end offerings. It is further accompanied by a similar watch called the Orient Revolver dive
Tissot Sea Touch Diving Watch: Officially Announced
While I knew it was coming, the official announcement for the Tissot Sea Touch watch is here. In early January I picked up rumblings on the Internet of a new Tissot T-Touch watch called the Sea Touch (read more about it in the link). Some prototype images and speculation aside, it was pretty obvious what the new diving-centric T-Touch line watch was all about. It is now clear that there will be rubber and steel bracelet versions. The case of the watch will be steel as well (not titanium as I previous speculated, as at the T-Touch Expert is made). That is OK, as steel has proved to be an
