Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Double Retrograde watch
Although the automatic watch new masterpiece Double retrograde publishing limited Maurice Lacroix (REF. MP6519-PG101-430) is not also grossly extravagant as superb Maurice Lacroix masterpiece wheel Carree second which was also introduced in Basel last week, it still appears original and, well, desirable. The reason for the attraction of the timekeeper is the winning combination of rose gold 46 mm case and dial with blue face elements deep. Together, these ingredients give the watch a particularly noble aspect, put in the same league with the cream of the cream of the community of Swiss watchmaking.
Tag Heuer Forumla 1 Chronotimer
I did a review on a Tag Heuer formula 1 Chronotimer I had briefly in my possession. It was actually a fairly careful watch and I liked how it looked on my wrist, but I thought if I did not keep the Breitling B-1, why would keep this an I would port for sports typical excuse, but I would either bring a Casio G-shock or one of my Lings. It is simply the way it is.
I also had a spot of soft for Heuers tag, and they are really a move to automatic Switzerland look at the market. Enjoy the video
Baselworld 2013: Hands On With The Arnold & Son UTTE Flying Tourbillon Watch
Just because Baselworld is almost over doesn't mean we've seen everything yet. Today we stopped by Arnold & Son and I was blown away by their UTTE, which stands for Ultra-thin Tourbillon Escapement. Part of their 2013 range, this very limited piece comes from the same manufacturer that brought us the DBS and DBG as well as the ultra-cool Time Pyramid (which Ariel covered here). Arnold & Son makes some truly stunning pieces and the UTTE definitely ranks among my favorite dress pieces of the show this year.Available in either 18k red gold or palladium, the U
Bovet Dimier Recital 0 Watch Review
I walked into the kitchen with this on and my girl said "nice watch." I asked her if she knew what made it special or had any idea what it might be worth and she just said "I don't really care." That pretty much sums up most people's perceptions of high horology on this planet. They can appreciate nice things visually, but when it comes to wanting to know all the nitty gritty nerdities which glue our eyes to the screen late at night, they don't have much interest. So what are we to do? Stand up on our soap boxes preaching the Swiss-made gospel or just be satisfied if our wrist worn mec
Linde Werdelin Land Instrument Review: More Than A Watch, More Than A Wrist Computer
"Instrument" is probably the best term to describe this nifty little device. It packs a lot of functionality, probably more than you'll ever use. The best way to describe it is a multifunction wristtop computer (term borrowed from Suunto) suitable for extreme conditions that can actually help you survive if you use it properly. The Land Instrument is made by Linde Werdelin, a manufacturer of primarily... luxury watches, and interestingly enough, the Land Instrument is more reasonably priced than you might suspect given its pedigree and functionality. The current price is about $1,100.T
