The movement is beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.The highly-complicated perpetual calendar complication naturally adjusts itself to reflect the variations in the length of the months, also taking onto account the leap year cycle. It is remarkable that it will be necessary to make the first perpetual calendar adjustment by hand only in over one hundred years, on condition of the timepiece's continuous operation.
