Inside Dubois-Depraz - Empire Of The Watch Movement Module
Fresh movements come in these plastic containersOn an uncommonly warm day in early October I visited a place few watch writers go - the manufacture (well one of them) of Dubois-Depraz. High-up in the mountainous region of Switzerland's famous Vallee de Joux the factory sits among many famous watch brands. Dubois-Depraz is a key cog in the watch industry you know and love, but they don't make watches.Individual gears are meticulously tested for precision and utilityUnlike the many curated tours of watch factories I am subject to, my guide at Dubois-Depraz wasn't a PR guide. Marvin Malton 160 Cushion Khaki Watch Review
Marvin is one of the most interesting brands out there that common people can afford. This is in large part due to the brand's leadership - a spunky and creative woman named Cecile Maye. Her view of design is highly emotional which lends to theme and philosophy being one of the main driving forces behind the design. Plus talent, of course. This super diver is water resistant to 3000 meters and carries Ball's signature cool engineered looks. Chunky and legible, it shouldn't be too expensive to boot.I don't know all the details yet, but I will tell you what I know. Size is at least 45mm wide, and as you can see the watch is quite thick. Ball is offer
Corum Admiral's Cup Watch Line Gets The Black Flag And Black Hull For Piratey Good Times
I've always been a fan of the Corum Admiral's Cup lines of watch, the more modern versions that is. The watch is meant to celebrate the Admiral's Cup yacht race, that you've only heard about if you are known in some circles as "admiral," or are currently wearing deck shoes. The trademark of the watches are the flags that have been used as hour indicators. Oh, and the chronograph seconds hand that was apparently fashioned from a cocktail drink stirrer. Which of course goes with boating. What is really great about the Admiral's Cup watches is the angular cases, large size, and large hand
