Dominique Loiseau Dead: Master Watchmaker Leaves Strong Legacy
Sad news today as Swiss/French watchmaker Mr. Dominique Loiseau has passed away, Gregory Pons at Business Montres reports. He was just 64 years old. OK people, here is the new "Double Freak," better know as the Freak Diavolo watch from Ulysse Nardin. This is a first look at the watch - and it is strictly a prototype. So you'll see stuff on the the piece here that will clearly be improved, removed, or otherwise changes. Take for instance the black around the bezel that will eventually be black vulcanized rubber. Really not a lot to add to this video in terms of stuff to say. The merits are there for your eyes. You have the very friendly Arnd at A. Lange & Sohne wearing TheTimeTV's signature little microphone talking about the new Richard Lange "Pour le Merite" and new 1815 watch line that was officially released at SIHH in January a couple months back.
