Hublot and Ferrari: The Art of Fusion
Brought together through everything from a shared passion for technique to a common consumer base, watch and car manufacturers have a long history of joining forces. While it seems that every notable watchmaker has allied itself with a top automobile brand, one of today?¡¥s most visible partnerships is that between Hublot and Ferrari. With shared attributes ranging from technology and design to quality and precision, the two international luxury houses continue to build off of each other through a comprehensive agreement which covers everything from branding to marketing and communicatio
6B Watches And The 6645 MK1 Limited Pilot's Chronograph
There are many ways that a watchnerd may come to know about the UK-based watch strap brand GasGasBones. Founded on the goal of reproducing NASA's design for a velcro strap to suit the Omega Speedmaster, GasGasBones have been making custom nylon and velcro straps for many years. If you didn't come to know about GGB after hunting for a perfect Apollo-style strap for your Speedmaster, then perhaps you bought an early Bremont MBII, which included a GasGasBones handmade strap as its secondary mounting option until late 2011.More recently, GasGasBones has been supplying the straps (and watc
IWC Spitfire Chronograph & Perpetual Calendar Watches For 2012
One of the most talked about watches from IWC for 2012 is the long-named Spitfire Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month watch. Trust me, it is easy to mess that name up when trying to remember it. Especially because it also has a chronograph and does not include that part of the watch in the title. This sexy looking 18k red gold watch is an expensive and luxurious pilot watch from the brand that many wanted to be offered in steel and thus more affordable. Maybe next year... but this is still one nice looking Big Pilot style timepiece. As I mentioned before here when debuting all of IWC
Casio Pro Trek PRW-2500 Watch Review
Thankfully a good number of Casio watches grace my wrists. There are few other inexpensive watch brands I so eagerly strap on and wear with glee - which is especially true for their Pro Trek (formerly Pathfinder here in the US) collection of multi-function watches. This time I check out the mid-range Pro Trek PRW-2500 and am again impressed. In my opinion there are enough Casio watch models available for one to get highly confused. The difference between one model and another can be confusing, with many having very slight changes here and there. Though overall new Pro Trek models tend
Max Bill By Junghans Watches For 2010
The "Max Bill watch" as it is known is one of the 20th Century's most famous watch designs. Clearly conceived by designer and architect Max Bill in Switzerland, the watch was a staple of goodness back when it was originally made in the 1960s. Since then you could buy versions of the watch in its pure form as made by German Junghans (who has many of their movements made by Seiko). For 2010 Junghans offers up a more modern, but still retro version of this retro classic. There are three versions of the watches and most exciting is their more modern dimensions (save for the still small man
