The Concord C1 EternalGravity watch is developed with scrupulous attention to detail in an unending quest for excellence
The Concord C1 EternalGravity watch is developed with scrupulous attention to detail in an unending quest for excellence. Beijing Watch Factory Wu Ji Infinite Universe Bi-Axial Tourbillon Watch
Chinese watchmaking is nothing new, nor is it unsophisticated. All of this is evidenced by the 2013 Wu Ji watch by the Beijing Watch Factory. "Wu Ji" apparently translates from Mandarin to "Infinite Universe" in English, a lofty title typical of Chinese naming practices. That said, the Beijing Watch Factory should be proud. Once again they've broken ground for their country by producing what they claim is the most complicated watch produced on mainland China. What impresses me more is the brand itself, and their rather atypically refined sense of composure.China isn't known for creati
URWERK Black Cobra Watch: Can Comics Sell Luxury Watches?
While it is hard to give proper credit, Linde Werdelin is the first luxury watch brand that I know of that employed the use of comics (ahem, graphic novels) to sell high-end timepieces. They still do that, and certainly are going to carry that idea into the future. UPDATE: I just learned that I had it wrong. Over 1000 Articles - Well-Earned
I like to post about these milestones -they feel important to me. I've written over 1000 articles. And I must remind myself that I also regularly write for a few other sites such as Luxist, AskMen, and more (see all my current work on the About page here). So the total watch articles I have written since starting in late 2007, is over 2000. But being my own place, I think 1000 here is still pretty impressive. I wonder if I put it all in a single book, how many pages it would be? I think we are talking more than War & Peace here. In this time
Nivrel Deep Ocean GMT Watch Winner Follow-Up
Thanks to Mark S. from Cleveland, Ohio for a follow-up wrist shot and some thoughts on the Nivrel Deep Ocean GMT watch he won back in August here on . Here are some words from him on the German timepiece:"Firstly, I'd like to thank Nivrel for allowing me the opportunity to win the new "Deep Ocean GMT diver." I'd just like to point out some of the features that set this watch apart and easily made it one of my favorites. Starting from the inside, I'm very happy that the watch is powered by the reliable Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement with GMT hand complication. When I first re
