Arnold & Son Time Pyramid Watch
Arnold & Son's new Time Pyramid watch was debuted before Baselworld 2013 and I covered it here. Although I had seen images of the timepiece, it was on the short list of watches I was extremely eager to get my hands on at the Baselworld watch show. Inspired by the design of ornate clocks, the movement was a beautifully symmetrical mechanism with an open skeletonized design that emphasized aesthetic achievements as well as open views watch lovers and novices alike can enjoy with ease.Relatively thin, the wide case sits impressively flat on the dial. At 44.6mm wide, the Time Pyramid
CMYA Myriad Watches
One of the new watch collections for 2011 that won't be easy to find is the "Myriad" collection from Swiss brand Cyma. While brands usually amuse/irritate me when they come up with new names for their products, Cyma actually put some thought into this one. "Myriad," as a word refers to a really large or indefinite number. The dials of the pieces have either a starry image of the "infinite" universe, or a light motif that Cyma simply calls their "infinity rhodium" dial. Duesenberg Circular & Rectangular Art Deco Watches
Good thing it is a German speaker (Swiss German) who revived the Duesenberg name! The brand with the same name as the classic car that almost epitomized F. Scott Fitzgerald era art deco cars has two new models that will come out in 2011. The watches are the Duesenberg Rectangular and Duesenberg Circular. Can you guess which is one is each!? The design really does feel as though it hails from the roaring 1920's. Why is it that the past always seem to be have been better than it actually was? I am really fascinated by the "grass is greener in that other era syndrome." Anyhow, let's focus
Edox Grand Ocean Automatic Chronograph Watch Review
I am happy to present you with this reader submitted review of the Edox Grand Ocean Automatic Chronograph watch. Please thank Erwin V. for not only taking the time to photograph the watch and write his thoughts about it, but also in having the passion to share his perceptions with the reader community. The watch actually impressed me a lot and is from Edox's most recent watch collection for 2009. My favorite part is the very life-like porthole style window on the caseback, very cool. Check out the review below with images also by Erwin V.:"At the moment Edox is
Zenith Class Lady Moonphase Watch For 2009
Zenith Class Lady Moonphase in Stainless Steel with White DialAs you may know, Zenith is a brand that I am very fond of.They take risks and have the history to back these risks up.While the trend of women wearing men's watches has been growing, Zenith was one of the first to embrace and encourage this. And, always to be one step ahead, Zenith has also created many designs with a more masculine yet edgy feel for women.Instead of just making models smaller for a woman's wrist, the designs are tailored more to the taste of a truly modern woman.Such as the new Class Lady Moonphase introduc
