Corum Chronograph Tourbillon 47 Seafender: How The Admiral's Cup Lost Its Rank
My favorite family of watches in the current collection of Corum products is the Admirals' Cup. Based on a now defunct boat race, the original Admiral's Cup watch began in the 1980s and was the original yachting watch to wear on or off deck with your boating shoes and skipper cap. What has marked the Admiral's Cup collection for so long is the 12-sided case and the use of colorful boat pennant flags on the hour markers. The latter has been mostly depreciated as the colors no longer exist on most new Admiral's Cup watches. Many new Admiral's Cup watches are still rather cool. However, w
Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Chronograph Flyback Watch: Racing With El Primero
Tag Heuer and Zenith are both part of the LVMH group and, with that connection, comes certain benefits. The new Tag Heuer Calibre 36 Chronograph Flyback models offer a prestigious alternative to TAG Heuer's 1887 in-house chronographs by employing a Tag-modified Zenith El Primero chronograph movement. For some reason GO didn't actually make the width easy to find, but as you can see on my wrist it is larger than some of its predecessors that were about 40mm wide. At least I think so or this would be a real trick on the eyes type of timepiece. The Glashutte
I Admit It, I Have A Weakness For Fashion Brands, And The Release Of The 2008 Hermes Clipper H1 Diver Watch Does Not Help
What is a fashion watch? Well it can mean a couple of things, but in this instance it means a company that mostly makes clothes or other fashion accessories, and then embarks on releasing watches. The nicer the underlying brand, the more expensive the watch. French Hermes not new to this game, but in the last 10 years or so have stepped up their watch offerings. Releasing more mechanical watches along with a more masculine line.I have always been a fan of the Clipper line. The good-looking sports watch depicted numbers oriented toward the center of the watch, with well crafted bracele
