Although we wouldn¡¯t have mind that Burberry added a plastic crystal
Furthermore, the stainless steel case has a diameter of 40mm which is perfect for most men (and women these days). Although we wouldn't have mind that Burberry added a plastic crystal on this watch, being all heritage and 1950s and all, there is a scratch resistant sapphire crystal on top of this Visodate. Perhaps even better, as a plastic crystal would scratch quite easily and that looks a bit silly on a dress watch.
Omega Speedmaster Mark II Reissue Watch For 2014
In 1969 Omega introduced the Speedmaster Mark (Mk) II as an updated version of the outgoing Speedmaster. It happened to be in the same year that Omega also had a few of its older generation Speedmasters make their way to the moon in the NASA Apollo 11 mission, but that of course is another story. With a newly formed case that would become an iconic symbol of the brand as well as the era, the Omega Speedmaster Mark II will be re-introduced by Omega this year in 2014 with a modern movement but a design that is very true to the original. We even have the price below - which is lucky given
Frederique Constant Maxime Manufacture Watches
Back in 2009 I wrote about the in-house FC-700 automatic movement by Frederique Constant, as well as the Maxime Manufacture watch that it came in. Since then Frederique Constant released the Maxime Manufacture watch (in steel at 42mm wide), and the Maxime Manufacture Lady (in various materials at 39mm wide). Here you see images of them both. For under $3,000 (about $4,500 even for fancy versions with diamonds), this is a really nice deal for a manufacture movement.I admire the decoration on the movement and the rotor for the price, and that the brand takes the movement seriousl
