I knew this watch existed for a while but seeing in the flesh solidified the feeling that yes, this is of the most (if not the most) steampunk timepieces in existence - and here I get to put it on. The first thing you will notice when checking out this watch is the text all over the dial - at least that is the first thing I notice. This is some sort of secret message written in "billionaire tongue" from Mr. Greubel and Mr. Forsey to buyers of the limited edition Invention Piece 3 watch. Here is a short entry for today, but with a good video to watch. Here is a compilation of video footage, much of it time lapse footage of watch and watch movement operation. A good deal of it is of vintage manually wound mechanical chronograph movements. I like this video for a couple of reasons.
