Specifications and characteristics of Jaeger LeCoultre's OTHER DivingWatch
It is important, as also the Polaris, MLC was not really much to offer real divers in the 1960s and 1970s. Their captain long was there, but let's be honest, that is not a true diving watch. Deep Sea master course, however, is supposed to certainly be worn under the water. It has a compressor case, a refracting telescope of rotation internal and smooth operation JLC movement with date window.
Arnold & Son Royal TEC1 Tourbillon Chronograph Watch
Just when we were beginning to think that the tourbillon was as played-out as a top 40 hit, Arnold & Son pulls us back in. After the success of last year's Baselworld release of the UTTE, Arnold and Son had set a high bar for this year's new model. With the recent announcement of the TEC1 Tourbillon Chronograph, I think we can consider that bar blown away. Part of their Royal collection, the TEC1 features a brand new in-house movement that combines a tourbillon, column wheel chronograph and automatic winding. With a beautiful and uncommon dial layout, the TEC1 offers huge amounts o
Gucci G-Timeless Sport Watch
Shouldn't the name of this watch be the Gucci "G-Time" versus "G-Timeless?" I mean of course I get what "timeless" means, but is that really a term you want as the name of a product that should not be "less time?" Perhaps I am thinking about it too much, but I really do feel that this little "minor" detail does matter when it comes to subconscious consumer perceptions about products. It isn't even timeless either. This dive-style watch looks to be squarely set in circa 1995 with its bold primary colors. Oh, you have got to love the Italians (and their flag). As much as I joke about it,
MoVas GMT Watch Review
MoVas is a unique brand for a couple of reasons. In a sense it is a sandbox for Singapore based designer Sean Wai. Not just a watch designer, Sean is a watch fan and enjoys designing timepieces. He isn't half bad either, and the look of MoVas watches are highly unexpected for an Asian brand (sorry if that sounds bad to anyone, but it is true in many instances) - which are often derivatives of European styles. There is a lightness and modernity to the design that makes it feel anything but something that is "living in the past." This is his first watch, simply called the GMT.MoVas stan
Breguet Reveil Musical Watch
Breguet here offers a music box style watch with a disc and pins, versus the only cylinder approach. What is neat about the Reveil Musical Watch is that you can have the music box play as an alarm. But don't for get to wind this baby up - the 20-25 second long tune is a mainspring torque eater. 18k rose gold case with musical notes and staff placed on the side of it. The watch comes with this fancy wooden case and stand. What does that do? It is a system that is meant to amplify the sounds of the music box in the watch when activated on the wood stand. Priced at about $64,000.Read my
