Hysek Pilot watches are popular all the time
Its smallest calibers remain faithful to their thematic origin and shine with their functional time reduction strictly necessary for Hysek Pilot watches. All that of course within the ultimate perfection.
Midos don't have much luminous areas on the dials at all
It's often bit of a pain to decide between the different dial variations. Usually the white versions aren't that popular among watch lovers, but the Discovery is an exception. The "Panda" dial is simply breathtaking and it definitely my cup of tea . White dial watches can sometimes be a bit "understated", especially if they have silver hands. The dark subdials and hand tips create very nice contrast, and the dial is highly accurate. Print quality and double-AR are impressive as well. Midos don't have much luminous areas on the dials at all, not gens or reps. Only the hands glow.
Eterna Royal KonTiki Two Time Zones Watch
The Royal KonTiki Two Time Zones by Eterna is a handsome watch, but watch industry pundits will no doubt consider the bigger story being the first appearance of the new Calibre 39 in a production watch. It couldn't have happened soon enough. When the Calibre 39 was announced this year, its appearance seemed to embody that well known saying ascribed to Plato that "Necessity is the mother of invention." It is one of those things that you can show people, in action, and they still don't know what it is. I've actually had people come to my office and see a bunch of watches in winders on shelves and remark "oh really? You have to show them off like that?" Which I later learned (after some probing) was a misunderstanding thinking that a watch on a winder was some special way of displaying them in a fancy manner. I just can't anticipate misunderstandin
Paul Picot C-Type Plongeur 48 Ben Spies Limited Edition Watch
When I first saw this new limited edition watch from Paul Picot, I thought that the logo on the dial looked a lot like something from my childhood. Check out the resemblance of Ben's lucky number 11 logo to that of GI Joe. You can't call it copying cause there is so much that looks like that. Military-esque style stars and USA colors? Never been done right? Being a fan of Paul Picot, and GI Jone, I thought I would write about it. Probably cause Ben Spies has a name that sounds like he would be a GI Joe character. I mean his last name is friggin "spies" (yes, I know it is pronounced "sp
