The display of the new Christian Dior watch comprises refined hour-markers
The master-engraver sculpted a horseman and his mount from a block of natural mother-of-pearl. Afterwards, he placed this piece of art on a polished petrified wood, offering the public a perfect opportunity to admire the fascinating landscape of this mineral within the structure of the watch dial. The display of the new Christian Dior watch comprises refined hour-markers as well as hour and minutes hands, gliding over them. The dial is shielded by a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The same glass is used for the back side of the timepiece.
Perrelet Turbine Diver Watch
2012 sees another variation on the popular Perrelet Turbine watch called the Turbine Diver - and it is just that. With a large case, internal rotating dive bezel, and 300 meters of water resistance, you can now combine your love of the spinning dial timepiece with your passion for sport watches. Here I lampooned their literary fluff that was meant to announce the Nabucco Va, Pensiero watch.
Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph Ref. 5980 Watch
New Patek Philippe watches for 2010 didn't exactly make me jump for joy, but I did like the two new additions to the Nautilus collection. No new movements, but new implementations in the Nautilus cases. Here is the Nautilus Chronograph (ref. 5980 in steel and 5980R in gold), and I also liked the Nautilus Annual Calendar Ref. 5726 that I wrote about here. What I like about the layout of the Patek Philippe Caliber CH 280520 C is that is it is a 12 hour chronograph that looks like a watch with only a subsidiary seconds dial (more or less) - and is still easy to read. Pretty nice looking a
