Two Vintage Tudors Worth A Look: While Not Really Rolexes
As many of you probably know, Tudor is a subsidiary of Rolex who sells watches on the theme of even slightly less than the price of a Rolex. They are certainly not a Rolex, but they are still very solid timepiece. Rolex case and crowns and a large part of this Rolex finishing but with modified highly movements ETA are adjusted to Rolex spec... for us, seems fairly well. The only difference is the ETA vs Rolex movement and the name on the face. Breguet Marine Royale Alarm 5847 Watch
While pretty awesome to behold (especially in size) and pretty in design, the Breguet Marine Royale Ref. 5847 watch for 2010 is an ergonomic mistake. It looks cool on the wrist - making you feel like some sort of well-to-do space pirate captain, but the legibility and use of the watch are pretty whacked. I've never much bought into the whole Breguet Marine line. Is it supposed to be a true diver? Just dive style? Dive anything?
