Heritage Advisor Watch From Tudor watch features delicate operation
There is nothing super innovative on a mechanical alarm. Given their delicate operation, I would say that, of all classical complications that has a watch which have been overtaken by the features on your mobile phone, the alarm is the more obsolete.
Techno Master on a Jaeger-LeCoultre Basis
The Midnight in Paris watch recreates the celestial dome's map with help of a rotating aventurine glass disk. Aventurine mineral is associated with a nice story. Once, a glass-maker from Venice accidentally (that is translated as 'a l'aventura' in Italian) dropped copper shavings in a molten glass mass and was surprised to see an iridescent green glass paste, then sold as 'aventurine'. As for the mineral, it was discovered later and named 'aventurine' as it looked much the same as aventurine glass. The Swiss mechanical movement equipped with 24 jewels is beating at 28,800 alt / hour. It offers 40-hour power-reserve. The precise mechanism was exclusively developed for Techno Master on a Jaeger-LeCoultre Basis.
Devon Tread 2 Watch
About two years ago the watch world was greeted with a strange announcement that Scott Devon was building a $15,000 (now a bit more expensive) electro-mechanical wrist watch in California. For the most part the Swiss and other Europeans dismissed the news and went on with their lives. Then the Tread 1 watch came out. The quirky and super cool timing machine had a larger impact than anyone could have imagined - and now Devon has released a follow
URWERK UR-202S Full Metal Jacket Watch With Bracelet
From the brand that brought you a black coated gold watch comes a black coated steel watch (and brushed steel) - and for some reason that seems odd for the brand. What I am more excited about however is the bracelet. This is the first Urwerk watch that I know of that comes with a metal bracelet - and I think it is really fitting. You can get me excited all day long with straps of fancy materials, but I really enjoy a nicely engineered bracelet (which is exactly what I expect from Urwerk). The 2011 UR-202S "Full Metal Jacket" is a variant of the UR-202, which itself is a variant of the
N.O.A Watches At Baselworld 2010
An underdog watch brand that I really like is N.O.A. Funny how Americans says the letters out (as it is actually an acronym) for "none of the above," but in Europe they seem to say it like it is a word. I met with N.O.A ("NOA") in Baselworld to check out their pieces and was really impressed. The presence the watches have is really interesting, and they are very comfortable to wear. Some of them are going to be an acquired taste, but few can say that they aren't pretty pieces. I have been especially interested in some of their more sporty pieces such as the Scyllis diver, and th
