Every Corum watch of a limited series that is sold helps manufacturers
We might catch ourselves looking down on such people, but the brands are quite happy with their custom¡ªand quite frankly¡ªsuch people actually do help the industry to develop new ideas that are often extremely costly to develop, let alone produce.Every Corum watch of a limited series that is sold helps manufacturers to return the costs that were invested in a complex wristwatch that only a small group can afford to purchase.
Hublot Big Bang Zegg & Cerlati Watches
The next limited edition Hublot Big Bang watch is for women. To be honest, the Big Bang model has taken a back seat (this will most likely be changing soon) to other Hublot models when it comes to limited editions for men. The King Power has been favored for a while because of its larger size and more technical design. In 2012 Hublot re-released the Big Bang as a larger watch and modernized it a bit. You guys love asking us who the winner of the watch giveaways are. We have a really simple policy on that - basically the winners are kept private, but asked to submit follow-up images of their new watches with thoughts. If they don't, I prefer to maintain their privacy. Seriously, get's a number of e-mails and Facebook comments asking about "who is the winner of so and so giveaway." I am happy there is such enthusiasm. Anyhow, the winner of last month's Tissot T-Race watch giveaway was nice enough to send a picture and some thoughts. Congrats to Scott C. of Arizona:"G
Devon Tread 1 Exoskeleton Watch
One of the new Devon watches for 2013 to be presented at Baselworld will be this Exoskeleton version of the Tread 1 (reviewed here). This will be Devon's highest-end watch to-date. While the core electro-mechanical movement from the Tread 1 remains more or less the same, and the overall design is certainly "Tread 1", this piece is a different beast altogether. For one thing Devon is thinking about making it in precious materials such as 18k white or rose gold. More importantly, it will be highly "skeletonized."Devon will likely use the same "ballistic polycarbonate" as the cry
