I was delighted when I received an invitation for their Master Class watchmaking course in Amsterdam, guided by one of their highly skilled watchmakers. Earlier this year, during their event at the 24 hours of the Nrburgring, I already received a short course on watchmaking but this was going to be the full program.At the end of the day, we received an official certificate, signed by Burberry CEO Mr. Lambert and watchmaker Mr. van Graas.A big thank you to all people at Burberry in Amsterdam and of course special thanks to their watchmaker, Mr van Graas.
TAG Heuer Carrera CMC Concept Chronograph Watch
2013 is the 50th anniversary of the Carrera so we are expecting a great deal this year. TAG Heuer obviously knows chronographs. Urwerk UR-210 Watch
I recently discussed Urwerk's brand new UR-210 watch with their interesting new "winding efficiency indicator" complication. The idea of the new complication was to tell you if you were winding the movement enough, or if you needed to be more active. Today I am at SIHH here in Geneva. But most of you are not. Too bad... As part of luxury watch brands further embracing the Internet, they are welcoming modern times by live blogging at the event. Tag Heuer Formula 1 Grande Date Watch
I'll take this watch please. Literally I want to sign for it right now. I've always been a big fan of Tag Heuer Formula 1 watches, and this latest iteration goes right back to the simplistic good looks that made this line of timepieces so incredibly desirable for me. While the watch is considered part of Tag Heuer's entry level line, the quality of the watch has? been going up - to the point where, yes, it is more expensive, but all that much more desirable (still under $1000 though). For instance, the classic plastic bezel has been replaced with a titanium carbide-coated steel bezel.
