Chanel J12 GMT Matte Watch Review
Today I'd like to review the Chanel J12 GMT Matte ref. H3101 men's watch from a brand that typically makes things for women. No doubt you are probably familiar with the Chanel J12 family of watches. For at least a while in mid 2000s, the J12 was perhaps the hottest luxury lady's watch around. You could travel all over the world seeing the white ceramic versions on the wrists of ladies of all ages, shapes, and backgrounds. Chanel did a lot of important things with the J12 from a fashion perspective. It made the white watch "hot" for women, and it ushered in the incredible popularity of
TAG Heuer Monaco V4 Tourbillon Watch
For 2014, TAG Heuer presents an even higher-end version of the watch that began "high-end TAG Heuer." This is the TAG Heuer Monaco V4 Tourbillon, and it places a tourbillon escapement into the world's first "belt-driven mechanical watch." Bored by your normal tourbillon watches? How about you try a belt-driven tourbillon on for size. The TAG Heuer Monaco V4 Tourbillon (aka Monaco V4T) comes in time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the famed Monaco V4 - the watch that was never meant to be. When it was presented by TAG Heuer in 2004, it simply didn't work. In fact, the design that T
Breitling Transocean Watch
While I am not the type of guy who is that interested in vintage style watches, there are a lot of excellent exceptions such as the newer Breitling Transocean. When Breitling shared this piece with me I immediately liked it. Sure it is a retro-type piece, but ti is not a watch that is overtly "retro." I would rather suggest it is a traditionally styled watch - something that has a more timeless quality than looking as though it is stuck in a past era.Last year Breitling introduced the chronograph version of the Transocean called that Transocean Chronograph. This p
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Squadra Palmero Open Watch
I fell in love with this watch the second I put it on my wrist. Images formed in my head of how I could dash out with it undetected by Jaeger-LeCoultre's watchful eyes. It takes a really nice watch to conjure up images of grand larceny in your head. I let them keep the timepiece, but thoughts of it stayed in my mind. I really need to own one of these someday. Before you is the Palmero Open version of the Reverso Squadra watch. There are other versions of the piece of course that aren't limited editions like this (gold is limited to 500 pieces, while the steel is not limited). Unl
Confr¡§|rie Horlog¡§¡§re Presents The ImmenSEAty Watch Movement By Gabriel Salgado
I think that just posting the images of this special one-off watch probably says enough. What else can I say? An intensely decorated movement made to look like an underwater scene. Not just that, but the actually movement itself is made to look like the sea floor. Simply amazing. The best part is that this is not just some concept or a piece of art. This will be placed in a real working watch. But probably just one. This movement is called the ImmenSEAty (clever right) and was created by young watchmaker Gabriel Salgado de Arce. This watch was part of a project at the Conf
