Breitling Chronomat GMT New Model!
Breitling has finally released a new movement (sort of) with their 04 class! It resides in the new Breitling Chronomat GMT, which is just the day before. Its a terrible 47 mm Chronomat with a GMT complication. And as the Rolex GMT II and of the Omega Seamaster, the main hand of 12 hours is used for the local time and is indexed on the date, so it can more easily be used for travel. A nice touch and a good blow on a part of the Breitling do that instead the opposite is much less useful for travel. The only thing which lack this watch is a window 24 hours a day. Instead, you get a diving-account countdown bezel and 24-hour scale is printed on the dial. However, I think more interesting is the possibility that buyers can now purchase a Chronomat in a larger format 47 mm.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer 72 Smartwatch For Sailing
As watch geeks, we've spent a lot of time pondering smartwatches. Here's one we didn't anticipate, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer 72. TAG partnered with Oracle Team USA to create a single-purpose smart watch for the sailors in the America's Cup 2013, and the results are fascinating. Let's take a closer look. The boats in the 2013 America's Cup are high-tech marvels, with ship-to-shore broadband, streaming hi-definition video, all sorts of data acquisition (to the tune of 30,000 samples per second total), and an on-board WiFi network. The boats and the race are about as tuned and competitive a
Fortis F-43 Jumping Hour Limited Edition Watches
For 2013 Swiss Fortis?releases two new limited edition Jumping Hour watches based on the system developed for the recent Fortis B-47 Mysterious Planets watch. These new watches are in the F-43 collection and are more plainly just called the Jumping Hour Limited Edition pieces. Two versions are available, one with a partially skeletonized dial, and one with a solid black dial with concentric circles as a dial texture. Is this a watch for you?The jumping hour system is rather efficient. Built on a base Swiss ETA 2824, Fortis developed a module that turned the hour handling into a jumpin

Bulova Accutron Sir Richard Branson Limited Edition Watch
Earlier in the year we learned that Bulova (owned by Citizen in Japan) has appointed Sir Richard Branson as a new brand ambassador. That seemed a bit strange to me. Not that Bulova wouldn't want Branson brandishing their watches, but rather that Branson - being mega-rich, and owner of the large Virgin group - would have zero need to establish the connection. I still don't know the details of the relationship (blackmail I am thinking), but Branson is going to be the Bulova poster child for a while.Clearly the "Virgin knight" doesn't need the cash. He has indicated that money made from
