This beauty was a delight to review - which is often the case with high-end Swiss pieces from brands such as Girard-Perregaux. Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve 2010 Watch Award Winners
Last night was the watch industry's annual big award show gala event - the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve (GPHG). These are our Oscars, and the 2010 winners are interesting. A few surprises, and a lot of watches that just keep winning. I was invited to the ceremony, but was unfortunately unable to stick around in Europe long enough after my last trip to go this year. Maitres du Temps Chapter One Watch
A little while ago I got the opportunity to have some hands-on time with the venerable Maitres du Temps Chapter One watch. The experience was incredible, as a timepiece like this really stands out above and beyond most other super luxury watches.
