In June, Ferrari is proud to unveil its Eco-Drive DOME watch. Last year the brand presented this timepiece as a concept model. Oris Divers Titan C Small Second, Date Titanium Ceramic Watch Review
My most recent new watch was an Oris Diver Titan "C" Small Second. Before discussing the watch itself I'd like to discuss how I came upon it. Watch enthusiasts really need a 12 step program. We are hardwired to always think about watches, our best bet is to channel our addiction to timepieces properly. Watches are where my brain wanders to during supposed "down time." I often think about it as the thrill of the hunt. How many times have the readers of aBlogtoWatch been obsessed about their next purchase, only to get it, and start the process all over again? Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques Chronograph Retro Watch Review
The hand-wound dress chronograph is a watch aficionado?¡¥s watch: slim and unassuming, only those in the know can appreciate the mechanical city that lurks within. The finest hand-wound chronographs are powered by intricate mechanical movements that offer plenty of eye candy when they are not hidden behind a solid caseback. Itay Noy X-Ray Watch Review
The Itay Noy X-Ray watch collection as a concept continues to impress me - I last reviewed their ID watch here. The idea of this newer piece isn't overly complex but it is satisfying and poetic. I am not sure of what inspired him, but Israeli Itay Noy (a man and a brand) decided to show you what was under the dial of these watches - in what ironically is an unorthodox manner. If you know anything about the watch world, you know that skeletonized dials on timepieces are very popular. Such watches show an actual view into the movements. What Itay Noy wanted to do was offer a traditional
Eterna Heritage Super KonTiki 1973 Limited Edition Watch
Bar none, my favorite new watch for 2010 from Eterna is this wonderful heritage re-release model of the classic Super KonTiki from 1973. While the new and older version of the watch have some differences, the character of the original classic remains (thankfully). I first wrote about the original Eterna Super KonTiki watch here, discussing how it was used by the famous IDF (Israeli Defense Force), and was a coveted collector's item. At that time I wondered if Eterna would ever revisit this model... and low and behold they did.At Basel 2010, I walked by the Eterna booth,
