Mondaine Stop2Go Swiss Railways Watch With 2 Second Delay
I was probably standing at a train station in Switzerland for a half dozen times before I first realized a peculiar thing about the clocks. The design of the clocks has been memorialized in Mondaine watches, and later in Apple devices, as they've "borrowed" the design in some versions of iOS. Tag Heuer's booth at Baselworld 2009 was quite controversial. Why? Because they didn't let anyone near the watches. I wasn't there, but reports indicate that Tag Heuer goons kept the press away offering to show them images of the products only. WTF? Yea, it doesn't make a lot of sense, but at least we have these videos that help make the watches more lifelike when all we typically have are marketing photos.
