The Queen of all watches reveals a host of complications

Pre-eminent Vacheron Constantin 222 by Gerald Genta
Since the beginning of my dependence on watch (to admit), I am a sucker for designs of Gerald Genta in the 1970s. Most of the time, I overlooked the Vacheron and drool on the photos of "his" Patek Philippe Nautilus, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and IWC Ingenieur SL.
Breitling Chronomat GMT New Model!
Breitling has finally released a new movement (sort of) with their 04 class! It resides in the new Breitling Chronomat GMT, which is just the day before. Its a terrible 47 mm Chronomat with a GMT complication. And as the Rolex GMT II and of the Omega Seamaster, the main hand of 12 hours is used for the local time and is indexed on the date, so it can more easily be used for travel. A nice touch and a good blow on a part of the Breitling do that instead the opposite is much less useful for travel. The only thing which lack this watch is a window 24 hours a day. Instead, you get a diving-account countdown bezel and 24-hour scale is printed on the dial. However, I think more interesting is the possibility that buyers can now purchase a Chronomat in a larger format 47 mm.

As a watch, there was not too much to talk about. Case and quartz movement with quirky looks? Not much material there. Instead the piece is a commentary on the design, and what I think it all means. So check it out.See my Topman Smart Futurist Analogue watch article on AskMen here.Best MatchItems Endin
