ferragamo has long been famous for their exquisite art of watchmaking
Switzerland has long been famous for their exquisite art of watchmaking. There are a number of companies from the country that have been creating some of the most popular and widely acclaimed timepieces around the world. One of the legendary names in watches that have come up time and again, whenever swiss watches were discussed were ferragamo watches.
Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer Watch Review
When it comes to watches that have been capturing my attention as of late, it boils down to a single class of complication - second time zones. This is most commonly achieved via a GMT hand, and it works quite well in that manner. Now that I've spent some time with the Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer, however, I can see that there's a lot more functionality that can be had when you want to track more time zones than the one you're currently in.As befits a watch labeling itself as a world timer, this Capeland model allows you to see, time in another time zone. Not only that, it
The Real Story Behind The Bremont Wright Flyer In-House Made BWC/01 London Watch Movement
A few days ago on July 23, 2014, Bremont admittedly botched the launch of what is an exciting new product for them - the Wright Flyer that aBlogtoWatch covered here. What happened? Confused facts and efforts by who Bremont claims is a person with an agenda against the brand cast an unfortunate negative light on the release. In addition to the Bremont Wright Flyer being a limited edition timepiece done in collaboration with the Wright family (whose ancestors invented manned-flight in 1903), the Wright Flyer watch was to contain Bremont's first "in-house movement." Nothing about the Wrig
Omega Z-33 Spacemaster Watch
For 2012 Omega returns to its tradition of offering very cool high-tech quartz pilot watches. The Z-33 is of course offered in honor of the famed Speedmaster X-33 from several years ago. Limited in production, the X-33 is now a highly lusted after collector's item. While a new watch, the Spacemaster Z-33 is produced in honor of some very important historic Omega watches.More images will come soon, but for now you can see that the most iconic aspect of the Z-33 is the case. This is the same case design as the original Speedmaster Alaska Project watch. It was a Speedmaster designed to s
Movado Ferrari Watches
I was sort of under the impression that Hublot had the corner on this market, but whatever. Movado just announced that it signed a multi-year agreement with Ferrari?to make watches with the Ferrari and Scuderia names, as well as use the brand logos. How this ties into Hublot's assumed exclusive agreement is unclear to me. My theory is that Hublot has claim on all higher-end Ferrari watches, while the Movado deal is for more entry-level luxury watches. According to the announcement the Movado Ferrari watches will only cost up to 1,500 Euros. Set to arrive in 2013, the Ferrari collection
