DeWitt gladly delivers its new 3403 OH watch
The horological company DeWitt gladly delivers its new 3403 OH watch, which sets an ideal balance between technical qualities and aesthetic virtues. Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Automatic Navy SEALs Watch
I was really excited about this watch when I got to play with it at SIHH 2010. Jaeger-LeCoultre has been working with the US Navy SEALs for a while making watches to suit their needs. The watch is model G5500SRF-1 and will feature special colors and a Surfrider Foundation logo on the face behind the data. A portion the money for each watch sold will go to the Surfrider Foundation.

There may be a ton of them, lots of them may be ugly or forgettable, but most of today's useful watch innovation is coming from the land of the rising sun, not Europe. While the Swiss and Germans are focused on perfecting the past, the Japanese are hard at work figuring out the next way to not only improve, but lower the cost of technically superior watches. While the Japanese cannot beat the Europeans when it comes to style, grace, and refinement, they do beat them when it comes to innovation. And trust me, th
