Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Watch: Thinnest In The World
At Baselworld 2014,?Bulgari (Bvlgari) quietly introduced two ultra-thin versions of the Octo collection that has been a mainstay of their focus for a few years now. The Octo Finissimo is incredibly thin and something I think many people will enjoy. In 2012, Bulgari released their fully in-house branded version of the Octo, a design acquired with the inclusion of the Gerald Genta brand. Genta, who was an extremely talented and legendary designer, created the Octo, as well as other Bulgari products that they continue to produce today. Cartier Calibre Multi Time Zone Watch
I was very interested in this watch because it was more than just another nice mechanical movement that showed the time in a funny way. This new world time watch (Multi Time Zone) in the Cartier Calibre collection has some neat features. My favorite is the city selector disc placed on the side of the case. These are usually very ugly looking and clutter up dials. For fun Cartier gave the watch something interesting they call a "jet lag indicator. " You know, because when you have jet lag you need something to remind you of it. Get one in gold for about $40,000.See my full article on the Car
Tag Heuer Monaco Mikrograph For Only Watch 2011 Auction
Tag Heuer's piece unique entry into the Only Watch 2011 charity watch auction will be this one-of-a-kind version of their new Mikrograph in a Monaco case. The Mikrograph was a limited edition of 150 pieces, retro looking model with a special 1/100th of a second chronograph movement. Tag Heuer now plays with the design and places the movement in this more futuristic looking case. While this is a one-off watch to be auctioned off, look to elements of this piece for future design directions. See more articles about: Charity InterestsOnly WatchTAG Heuer MonacoWatches & CarsWat
