Jacob & Co. Cyclone Tourbillon Watch has a kind of techie design with a texture
Although the Cyclone is the first watch ever to have a real Vortex rotates on a spinning rotor. The movement was created by some ex guys of accommodations that are now in the fabric of time. It has a kind of techie design with a texture, although relatively flat dial (as the rotor must turn around).
Maurice Lacroix mounted with their new Kiteboarders shows Pontos chronograph rectangular full black
Maurice Lacroix mounted with their new Kiteboarders shows Pontos chronograph rectangular full black (which I already wrote about here). Not exactly a "watch, sport extreme, but not too bad that corresponded to their outfits." It was a great test of endurance for more timepieces. See if they could do with water, wind and potential shocks.
Romain Jerome Moon Invader Watches
Back at Baselworld 2010 I stopped by the Romain Jerome booth to see "what was cooking." Turns out it was moon dust. As an extension of the Moon Dust DNA collection of watches, Romain Jerome (RJ) showed-off the "Moon Invader." The New Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic will be available in two (reasonable) sizes at 40mm and 44mm wide. I would love to wear the 44mm wide version in this classic style. The watches also get a lot of upgra
Watch What-If: Hamilton Ventura XXL
"Watch What-If" is a special column on that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off of will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does th
