Seiko Astron Solar GPS Watch New Design Added For 2014
Seiko has been putting serious resources into the success of their Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch collection that they debuted about two years ago. We've been fans of the techie watch that instead of relying on radio signals from the few terrestrial atomic clocks, connects to signals from GPS satellites. Why? Well to indicate the correct time anywhere in the world of course (assuming you are more or less outside that is). There is a forthcoming aBlogtoWatch review on the Seiko Astron Solar GPS, but until then we can report on a brand new collection of new Seiko Astron watch designs that
Armin Strom Tourbillon Gravity Fire Watch With Micro-Rotor
Whatever you may think of the practicality of a tourbillon in a watch, there's no escaping that they are quite a visual treat to watch while they work away. Normally when a watch has one, though, that's all you really see of the movement from the dial side. Only Swatch changed the lyrics from "can't touch this" to "can touch this." I wonder what percentage of the target demographic recalls or is aware of the song in the first place? This is a watch clearly aimed at generation Y and younger. For me, the song is a distant reminder of grade sc
Jorg Gray JR9400-21 Watch Review
I have got to hand it to Jorg Gray for keeping up momentum and trying new things. The previous generation of Jorg Gray timepieces were designed to offer more reasonably priced alternatives to popular designs from expensive high-end watch brands. I anticipated that the brand would take a few years before developing their own "character," but it took a lot less than that. Now, less than two years after I made that initial prediction, Jorg Gray is releasing totally unique timepieces with an incredible richness of character.I like to think of Jorg Gray's experimentation on par with Invic
