DOXA SUB 300T-Graph Chronograph Watches
This is an evolved Doxa and one of the nicest reasonably priced chronograph dive watches we know of. The Doxa SUB 300T-Graph (SUB300 T-Graph) is inspired by vintage Doxa design cues and faithfully asserts the tool-watch nature of the famous diving timepiece maker. There are three versions of the SUB 300T-Graph and each is under $3,000 being part of a limited edition. Oh, and if you want one you can only get them online as far as we understand it.That's right, if what I hear is true, then Doxa was among the first historic watch makers to decide it was best for them to bypass retail sal
Konstantin Chaykin Cinema Watch
To be honest, I never thought I'd actually make it to Konstantin Chakyin's manufacture in Russia. I've long since been fascinated by the high-end watchmaker hailing out of Moscow, but each time he invited me to come visit if I was in town, it never seemed like an actual reality. Virtual Ideas Toxic Linear Time Watch Concept
With linear time indicators that resemble syringes, the "Toxic" watch concept creation by Swiss Virtual Ideas is another neat idea by the watch design firm. Showing time on linear scales means that an indicator moves across a scale and then jumps back once it reaches the end. Look closely and you can see a telescopic arm that moves across the dial with a red strip for the indicator. It moves like a vial filling up or emptying at the arm extends and pushes in the indicator. It would have been cool for it too look like one side of the indicator was filling with a colored liquid. The tele
Featured In The Financial Times
Did you know that the Financial Times has a special section from time to time called "Watches & Jewelry?" I didn't either until recently. How neat is that?A recent Financial Times article discussing the power of blog in the watch industry featured myself (Ariel Adams) and . While brief, the article mentions the immense influence blogs have over the watch industry as well as the people who buy watches. It also remarks on how the watch industry doesn't always know how to deal with blogs like , as what I (and the few others like me) do is often quite dif
