Omega Wants Good Constellation Watch
Movements in the models of end higher are clearly Omega co-axial automatic gauges like the 8500/8501, 8520/8521, towards the caliber 2500. Quartz models have movement caliber Switzerland 1376 or 1523. Each size, the Constellation retains the iconic look of the angular case with side mounted "claws." I really think that "claws" are a terrible to discuss the aesthetic features on the case, but it is terminology Omega. One of the elements which is so connected to classical Constellation watches is the homogenous aspect bracelets. Using large links with no gaps, the watches have a very distinct look with the great and simple, although that tapered and complex in the bracelet of the construction. New for today and never a part of the original line are colourful rubber straps that emulate the looks. Tell Omega they would try pairing of diamonds covered watches in gold with a 1982 rubber strap and they would probably laugh you room. How times change.
Blancpain L-Evolution R Chronographe Flyback Grande Date Watch
We continue to believe that with enough attention, Blancpain will truly make something out of the L-Evolution timepiece collection. Intended to connect to the world of high-end auto racing, the L-Evolution family of watches continues to receive refinement, and the Blancpain L-Evolution R Chronographe Flyback Grande Date might just be the most suitable of the entire lot so far.The last time we looked at a Blancplain L-Evolution watch, it was with the L-Evolution Split Second Flyback Chronograph (hands-on here). It was released in 2012, and in 2013, Blancpain followed-up with this more
Tissot Sculpture Line Moonphase Baby Breguet Watch
Likely no coincidence that Tissot created a timepiece like this and both Tissot and Breguet are under the same umbrella company - the Swatch Group. While Tissot is best known in the US for their awesome T-Touch timepieces, and other sport watches, they do actually offer some nice classy pieces as well (though a good deal of those are harder to find in the US). Tissot sits as a high-value, entry-level luxury watch portal for the Swatch Group. They are actually in sort of the same boat with Certina watches (also Swatch Group, but those are very hard to find in the US).So new from
Perpetual Calendar Tiffany & Co. Watch Shines With Company Heritage
Since Tiffany & Co.'s new deal with the Swatch Group, things are quickly expanding on the watch side of things for them. One of their main benefits has been to make classic look cool. Tiffany & Co. takes the appeal of makers like Patek Philippe (which coincidentally they sell), and takes enough of the pretension out of it to make it appealing. The message sent is that you don't need to be flamboyant to look good, which seems to be the fashion message sent by many watches. With a degree of British demeanor, though it is not an English company, Tiffany & Co. sells "proper" lo
