Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Chronograph Ceramic Limited Edition Watch
I will continue to say that Jaeger-LeCoultre makes some of the best sport watches around and Jaeger-LeCoultre will continue to communicate very little about them. For the last several years with remarkable consistency, Jaeger-LeCoultre has released one or two new sport watches that offer a great style, interesting and useful complicated movements, masculine designs, and fair prices. This year that aggregate of qualities finds itself in the limited edition Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Chronograph Ceramic timepiece. It looks like a watch Jaeger-LeCoultre has produced before because
Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster Orbital II Chronograph Watch
Ball?is no stranger to creating watches tied to modes of transportation. They're most commonly associated with the railroads, as that's where the company got its start over a hundred years ago. What people may not be as familiar with are their ties to aerospace. Ball has been partnered with Brian Binnie (the pilot of Virgin Galactic's SpaceshipOne) for some time now, and have developed features to help watches withstand the shocks of rockets firing. The first development they added to their latest watch, the Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster Orbital II, is the Amortiser. Patek Philippe Chronograph Annual Calendar 5960/1A Watch In Steel
For top-tier brands like Patek Philippe,?exotic materials such as gold, in all its hues, and platinum are almost exclusively used when it comes to their more complicated models, while steel is primarily reserved for the sportier and/or simpler pieces, like the Nautilus and the Aquanaut. In this environment exotic pales into usual, and ordinary becomes special. At Baselworld 2014, Pa
RGM 160 Watch Review
This is the RGM 160. It is on the mid-to-upper range of RGM watch which don't use in-house made RGM movements. With a versatile and useful set of complications from the ETA Valjoux 7751 automatic movement, this is a very attractive mix of having an American made watch with a Swiss movement. RGM is making their own movements now for the 801 handwinder and tourbillon, but have not ventured into other complications. Historically, the Swiss approach was to make modular movements and buy prepackaged complications from companies such as Dubois Dupraz and Soprod, I'll be curious to see what r
Bavarian Crono Focke-Wulf FW 200 Watch
When it comes to using bits of historical aviation equipment in the physical construction of a watch, it would seem Bremont has some competition, and from Germany no less. We have showed you watches from Bavaria Crono in the past and today's watch features a handmade dial which uses original metal from the last known Fock-Wulf FW 200 Condor. The Condor was a very advanced (for its time) commercial airplane and is known for being the first airplane to travel from Berlin to New York without stopping. The Bavarian Crono Aviator??s Focke-Wulf FW 200 is a 46mm stainless steel watch po
